    Whenever there is a new requirement please spend quality time with the hiring manager. Here are the points that one has to remember before initiating the recruitment cycle of the new requirement.

    1.Job Description - design it in way where you can understand the requirement from the functional perspective than technical.

    2.Different ways to track candidates - Use Job portals, sub vendors, social networks. Spend more time on sourcing as the 80% of the recruitment completes in sourcing. Today Social networking and referrals have become better-hit rate in recruitment process. Utilize the groups, forums to identify the right candidates.

    3.Brand Marketing - In recruitment process, recruiters are the brand marketers of the company. Convey positive information to the candidate but never over promise about the Costs or about the company.

    4.Regular Updates - Always keep the candidates updated about the interview status. This will deliver a professional approach of your work and this will avoid the mishap of loosing a potential candidate.

    5.Rejected Candidates...suitable hires - Keep in touch even with resources who are rejected for an specific requirement as they might turn in to potential hires for different requirement in the due course of time.
